Star Wars Black Clearance in NYC
ToysRUs in Times Square continues to have more 6-inch scale Star Wars Black action figures (Amazon.com search*) than they can sell, and now anyone who has missed out on Jabba and the Biker Scout can find the toys on clearance.
Jabba on clearance doesn’t surprise me — the fat slug without his throne looks pretty sad — but I was shocked to spot that Biker Scout. I thought for sure every Star Wars fan would have wanted that set, but clearly I’m wrong because there were about a dozen or so of these on the shelf.

That store just has too much of everything. Was in there twice over the weekend (second time was to mainly get out of the cold a bit) and like the last time I was in NY, blown away by the amount of product they stock. It is just too much. There is no way they are selling through any of it.
Those Jabbas and biker scouts have been a constant presence in all the TRU stores around here since they were released. Of course, I still haven’t been able to find a second Stormtrooper anywhere.
I saw the Speeder Bikes at my local Target for $25. They must have had about 8 of them. I guess they just aren’t selling.
$25 seems good for that biker scout set, but perhaps the price is throwing people? But overall, is the 6″ line doing well?
I was able to price match Amazon for both. Biker was $25, Jabba was $14!!
My tru NEVER has anything but they have tons of Jabba and biker…and Han…and Obi…and 1 Bespin Luke with crossed eyes
