Star Wars Diecast Vehicles on Sale in 1981

This price listed for the Kenner Star Wars diecast vehicles in this 1981 newspaper advertisement is ridiculously low: $0.81/each!!! Less than a buck for these toys is so shockingly low that even as a kid I would have found myself with two or three of them. Hell, I’d have taken a fleet of TIE Fighters, Y-Wings, and X-Wings at a price this insanely low!
