Star Wars: Expand Your Universe in 2008
The entire Force Unleashed series (Amazon.com search*) in 2008 captured a lot of Star Wars fans’ attention and dollars. The video game series was expanded with action figures, books, and comics, and this Hasbro ad from 2008 shows one of the cooler concepts with that battered and bruised Vader. Darth Vader in battle-damaged armor is an incredible look and it’s too bad we never saw this in a film.
