I’m positive that the supply of Kenner Star Wars advertisements hiding in the Google newspaper archives cannot be limitless, but each time I take another run at the archives I find something new. For example, consider this 1982 advertisement for toys at Pomeroy’s from the Reading Eagle newspaper. That’s a very different look for the Kenner Star Wars action figures, leaving me to ask: How many of these stores drew their own original artwork to promote the toys?
