Star Wars “Land of the Jawas” Playset on Sale in 1979
I’m betting that a lot of kids will be getting Star Wars toys and action figures (find at Amazon.com*) for Christmas this year, making it almost four decades that we’ve been asking parents for Star Wars merchandise. Fortunately, that means there’s also a lot of options for those who want to dig into the past of Star Wars sales . . . and that brings us to this December 2, 1979 newspaper ad that includes Kenner’s Land of the Jawas playset on sale for just $5.69.
