“Star Wars ‘Return of the Jedi’ Figures from Kenner”

June 3, 1983. Off the record, and just between us, I’ve been slowly working on a companion to my two Star Wars newspaper ad books — Collect These Figures and Accessories* and A Galaxy of Action Figure Savings* — and continue to chase down old ads and marketing materials. I’ve not yet started photographing toys and packages — that comes later — but I am quickly finding that there is no shortage of surprises out there. Time to dig a bit more!
