Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Soundtrack in Billboard Magazine
The April 27, 1996 issue of Billboard (Google Books search page) included this fun little snippet that’s worth sharing:
“One of the label’s most unusual releases is “Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire,” in stores this week (23). It’s not the soundtrack to the fourth installment of George Lucas’ famed series, but the original score for a new book that takes place between “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.” The enhanced CD features 40 minutes of original music by John McNeely and images from the Nintendo game for “Shadows of the Empire.””
If that’s not a fun treat to start your day then I’ve got nothing else to entertain you with.
