Star Wars Troop Transporter at Children’s Palace
November 23, 1980. The only truly valuable part of this Children’s Palace newspaper advertisement is the price of that Troop Transporter. $17 is a bit high for the toy in 1980, and if we compare the below advertisement to this one from the same year, the artwork reproduction quality isn’t even noteworthy. It’s a good thing we’re finding several different ads for the toy or else we may be stuck with a false sense of its value back in 1980.
