Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game “Tantive IV” Expansion Preview at FFG Site
Fantasy Flight Games’ X-Wing Miniatures Game (Amazon.com search*) clearly believes in that whole “go big or go home!” philosophy. Last week I posted X-Wing pics from NTYF and now we can enjoy a better look at the Tantive IV “miniature” in this preview at the FFG site.
I know that I cannot be the only one absolutely stunned that Fantasy Flight Games attempted — and seems to have done a spectacular job with — a new starship unit of this size. And reading through the preview post shows that they did a lot more than create an awesome new toy; splitting the ship into sections, providing a new “extended” range ruler, and bringing it all in for under $90 is truly impressive.
I now can’t wait to see where they take the game next. There’s no way they’ll produce a Star Destroyer, right?
