December 16, 1987. Coleco’s Starcom Starbase appears in this 1987 newspaper ad from ToysRus. Okay, just why is it that as awesome as the Starcom toys look there’s not a single one of them here at home? I suspect it’s because I know that as soon as I buy one of the Starcom toys I am doomed to seek out every single release. Owning zero Starcom toys protects me from myself, yes?
