Hasbro’s G.I. Joe and Mattel’s Masters of the Universe each appear in this short newspaper piece from the December 23, 1985, Southeast Missourian. It’s a fluff piece, yes, written just because it was the Christmas season, but if I’d seen this when I was a kid I would have stopped and enjoyed even these cropped pics of some cool toys.
