Starship Troopers 1997 Trading Cards Advertisement

The Starship Troopers series (find at Amazon.com*) has really never taken off with audiences. There’s just enough excitement around the brand for the occasional bit of fun to happen for the series, but it never generates enough cash for Hollywood to go all big and crazy and capitalize on things.

This 1997 issue of Starlog magazine does show us a time when Hollywood was trying, though, with a full-page ad for Starship Troopers trading cards. I suspect that these trading cards aren’t worth all that much today, and a quick search at Amazon* shows I could get a box for $20 or $30. I won’t order the cards. Really. I promise.
