“Step into the World of Tomorrow” with TSR’s Buck Rogers Novels

In addition to their Buck Rogers XXVc roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*), TSR also produced Buck Rogers novels back in the late eighties and early nineties. It was the summer of 1989 when I took a chance on the first book in the series, Arrival*, and was instantly hooked on the setting that TSR had devised for their incarnation of the Buck Rogers character.

Nine more novels followed that first short story collection, and the following 1989 ad from Dragon magazine features the Martian Wars trilogy, one of three different trilogies that TSR published for their Buck Rogers line. I should go back and read these books again; I’m pretty sure I have a complete set of the novels here at home. Too bad they aren’t offered on Kindle, though, because these would make great reading material for the Nuremberg trip at the end of this month.
