Here’s a 1984 newspaper ad for the fans of Schaper’s Stomper 4×4 motorized toys of the eighties. This Walmart ad lists the Tumbleweed Trail and Earthquake Alley terrain sets on sale, showing us what some of the more expensive Stomper toys of the eighties cost way back then. $15 in 1984? That was a lot of cash for twelve-year-old me, so it is no wonder I didn’t get all that into Stompers when I was a kid. That money was better spent on Transformers and G.I. Joe in 1984.
