Stratego Now with Patch Products
It feels like only a few years ago that Stratego (Amazon.com search*) made the jump from Hasbro to Spin Master, and now I see that Patch Products has picked up the classic two-player game and is offering it at retail. WTF? Okay, this makes me think that the Stratego game is not a strong seller in stores.

This is kinda sad, because the Stratego game* is fantastic fun and should be performing better so that it can stick with a publisher for more than a few years. Not that Stratego has ever been one of the top performers in toy stores, but is this a sign that we’re soon to see other classic boardgames falling to sales levels that they’re not worth supporting? Gonna have to watch and see what happens next with this game . . .
