Sunrise with the 212th Attack Battalion
My Utapau Clone Trooper (reviewed here) hit the mountainous regions near my home yesterday morning and, as he worked his way to the top of one of the peaks, I managed to snap this shot.
Unfortunately, shortly after this photo the Clone Trooper was wounded in battle and lost his foot in an incident. He’s currently out for repairs and, with luck, he’ll soon walk again. The damage may be too severe, though, and he may find himself stuck with an unmovable foot which will seriously restrict any future exploratory expeditions.
That is a terrific photo, Phil. Looks like a still from one of the movies.
@De – Thanks. It was tough getting everything to focus right so early in the morning, but in the end I managed to get four or five really good shots before his foot broke off.
How did it break? This is what keeps me from buying expensive toys… I’m always scared I’ll break ’em.
@Monsterforge – “How did it break?”
As usual, I’m clumsy and I dropped him. I was trying to scale a chunk of land with him, the camera, and his weapons, when I dropped him.
I decided that the answer is that I can’t have nice things.
Man… that sucks… want me to take a stab at fixing him? I’m always fixing folks’ broken junk. Let me know.
Well, he’s out with Ben for repairs this weekend but if Ben can’t fix the guy then I’ll drop you a note. Thanks for the offer!
No prob, dude! Let me know.
