Super Savings on Masters of the Universe in 1986
As we know after reading Mastering the Universe*, Mattel’s He-Man toys of the eighties spiked and then crashed, with the line collapsing and failing in 1987 after a few years of insane sales numbers. Yesterday’s 1986 newspaper ad included some of the early indications that Masters of the Universe was in its final days back when the ad was new, and today I want to be sure that all of you see these toys and prices.
