Super7 Super Shogun Stormtrooper Pre-Orders Start Tomorrow

The massive Super Shogun Stormtrooper (mentioned here) may have a $300 price tag, but I fully expect this thing to sell out immediately when it goes up for pre-orders tomorrow at noon. Check this page at the Super7 site for a countdown to pre-orders.

There’s still a debate in my mind as to whether or not I should pre-order this toy. I absolutely love Stormtroopers — hell, I even have stormtrooper as a tag here at battlegrip.com — but $300 for a giant toy is kinda crazy. Especially since I already have one of Ashley Wood’s Large Martin toys that’s in that same price class.

I’ve still got a day to make a decision. I’m leaning toward yes, buy this, because it’s just so damned impressive. A 2-foot tall Shogun Warriors-style Stormtrooper excites the hell out of me; just imagine how awesome this guy would look surrounded by stormtroopers of other sizes.

Gina and I have talked about getting a cool statue for the living room. Well, this is as big as a lot of statues and it’s undeniably cool. But I’m still torn, both because of the size of the toy and the price. And I know this won’t last long, so if I want it I need to be ready to pre-order tomorrow as soon as it’s available.

Thanks to Super7 for sending me these pics. The company noticed my post and offered to send me more photos and info. Man, I wonder if they would be so kind as to send me a sample of the toy. That would be too, too awesome.
