The Amazing Energized Spider-Man in 1979
After finding one of the Remco Energized Spider-Man toys a few days ago (pics posted here) I thought it could be fun to see if there are any more newspaper ads for the toy. Well, after a few moments in the Google newspaper archives I surfaced with this 1979 newspaper ad that actually shows the basic Energized Spider-Man toy.
Between spotting the Energized Spider-Man Copter in the wild and ads like this it’s probably only a matter of time before I chase one of these toys down. I wanted one as a kid and never had it, so why not have one today?
