The Batboat Returns in Kit Form

It’s the sixties all over again with this Batboat model kit* that’s ready for glue and a ton of hours. It’s too bad the boat design didn’t include more fins — it’s kinda funny that the car had more fins than the boat — but at least it has those fantastic flames.

Last seen bouncing over the choppy waters of Gotham City, this 1966 Batman TV series Batboat comes from the classic Polar Lights model kit. It’s full of fine details based on the original design from the 1960s, including Batman and Robin figures and full-color decals. At 1:25 scale, the kit measures 8 1/2-inches long when fully assembled. It’s a skill level 2 model kit that requires glue, assembly, and paint. Holy nautical vehicle, Batman! You’ve got to get one of these!
