“The best tank game in 30 centuries…”

This 1988 advertisement for the BattleTech game is from Australia and the 31st issue of the Breakout! Australian games magazine. That explains the listed prices, all of which strike me as way too high for what BattleTech products cost back in the eighties. For me, back when this ad was new, the most important BattleTech products were the core box, AeroTech and CityTech, and the Mechwarrior roleplaying game. We never really got deep into the RPG side of the BattleTech gameworld, but the contents — especially the color section — was too awesome to ignore.
