The Bionic Transport and Repair Station, New from Kenner

This Six Million Dollar Man toy commercial from the mid-seventies shows us one fun-looking chunk of plastic that can transport Steve Austin around and is there ready to repair him after he takes damage (no doubt because we threw him out of the tree in an attempt to wipeout a bad guy). Watching this commercial makes me think it’s about time someone got the license for this concept and gave us a new . . . well, something. But I guess six million dollars wouldn’t be nearly enough for today; we’d have to get “The Six Billion Dollar Man” to make it really work.
