The Continuing Battle for Survival . . .
The eighties were loaded with odd toy lines, and today we take a quick peek at Sectaurs (Wikipedia), a series designed around bugs. Yes, bugs. I’ve mentioned the line before (The Bugmen of Insecta, Megabug Gladiators, and Glyos Insects), but we can never get enough of weird eighties toys.

These are actually some of the nicest 80s figures out there. The quality is great, the sculpting on the weapons is insane, and the paintjobs are really cool too.
@Talyn – I sometimes think I should search for these on eBay. I have so far resisted.
Agreed, for the time these figures were awesome, and I think they hold up pretty well to this day. I have all of them except for Dargon and his Dragonflyer. The only downside to his line is the gumminess and brittleness of the plastic on the figures and gear that has happened due to age. There’s nothing as distressing as seeing your toys fall apart after all this time 🙁
