The Corps 12-Inch Scale Action Figures at Walmart
Clearly the team at Lanard Toys (website) have been watching the toy shelves. How else can we explain the fact that their The Corps toy series (Amazon.com search*) now has 12-inch scale action figures that resemble the articulation design and size of Hasbro’s Titan Heroes series?
The Titan Heroes — Iron Man review here, Spider-Man review here — are awesome toys for kids, and seeing these similarly-sized and designed The Corps action figures priced at just $6/each has me wondering just how much Lanard’s efforts at retail eat into Hasbro’s sales. Do a lot of parents save the $3 and buy the kid one of these, or are the Hasbro-licensed designs work the extra few dollars to parents?

I bought a pair of these and the only complaint I have is that there legs are not articulated at the hips. They can’t sit!
@James – No time to sit!!! Gotta get out there and make war!
Grabbed the set of 4 tonight. Going to convert one of them to The Punisher to join my Titan Heroes ranks.
Only thing is they are 10-1/4″ tall, coming in a little shorter than the Titans (which average 11-1/2″)
