“The Empire strikes everywhere.”
By the time this ad was published in 1993 we had seen video games dominate comic book advertising. A decade earlier we were still getting physical game ads and toy ads, but something switched in the comics advertising landscape in the early nineties and toy ads basically vanished. Why? I mean, this Game Boy ad for Star Wars is nifty and all, but exactly why did toymakers effectively abandon comic books?

That totally needs to be a line. Heck, I could see that being the basis for an exchange between Hux and Kylo Ren in Episode VIII.
Hux: The First Order will strike back and target the Resistance on D’qar!
Kylo Ren: No, the First Order Strikes everywhere!
Hux: ……. What does that even mean?
