The End of Retro Action Superheroes

I’ve mentioned Mattel’s Retro Action DC Superheroes* in the past, usually whenever I’m thinking about buying Batman but then just never take the plunge.

Well, if I want one then I had better act fast because Infinite Hollywood has reported that the line is over. Mattel will not be continuing the series. Click here for the story.

And the news is confirmed at the Mego Museum, which says:

EMCE Toys has confirmed what the Infinite Hollywood site reported earlier today: Mattel’s Retro Action is coming to an end . According to a chat with Matty Collector representatives, Retro Action will not continue”…past the 2011 offerings”.
