The King of Kong Arcade in the Orlando Airport

If you’ve never seen The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters* then you have been missing out on an entertaining — and geeky! — documentary about the battle for the world Donkey Kong record. It’s fun to watch, but don’t blame me if you suddenly find yourself with the urge to play way too much Donkey Kong.

Yesterday, on my way out of Orlando, I was surprised to find an arcade in the airport named after the documentary. It was on the wrong side of security — what fool places an arcade outside of the spot where people are forced to wait? — so the best I could do was snap a few photos on my way to the security line. But if you ever find yourself arriving early at the Orlando airport maybe you’ll have a few minutes for the King of Kong arcade.
