“The Next Dimension in Trading Cards!”

Out of a 1995 issue of Cards Illustrated magazine, this advertisement for the Topps X-Files trading cards (find at Amazon.com*) hints at the contents, showing us a sliver of one of the original paintings by Thom Ang that was created for the series.

I was fortunate enough to meet Ang over a decade ago, spending time chatting with him and getting a better insight into his work.
