“The Plot Thickens.”
Alice in Chains’ Dirt album* from 1992 was a revolution in music, taking their work a step beyond Facelift and moving them in the direction of the absolutely phenomenal Jar of Flies.* Those three albums, as well as Sap and their self-titled album in 1995, stand out as classics, but back when this 1993 ad (from the back cover of Spectre #6) was new, I was playing as much Alice in Chains as the world could handle. More than that, maybe.

Now to dig out the CDs and listen to these albums again. First, though, Angry Chair to make your day better.
