TheGodBeast’s Kabuto Mushi Chameleon
The last time we looked at TheGodBeast’s (website, Twitter) upcoming Glyos-compatible (Onell Design) action figure, the Kabuto Mushi (mentioned here) the toy was looking like an incredible work of art . . . but Marty had to take it up a notch and create a color change version.
Check out this thermal change resin that Marty’s testing. From white to black! Very cool, but it kinda destroys my whole “paint these like Insecticons” plan. I’ll still have to beg Marty for designs in simple white plastic so I can paint them, but now it looks like I’ll also need these in color change plastic. Great idea, and I can’t wait to hear about how the process works out. Is it cost effective? Is the material easy to work with? Will he use it again? Where did he even find this stuff?
So many questions!
TGB is also doing a set of four infection heads, and one scarab head+torso combination in the color change-material.

Reportedly there will be a color-matched Glyos drop with the heads, around the end of the month.
Kabutomushi id due February, and I too, want colorless versions to paint!
