“They’re ugly! They’re wacky! They’re freaky fun for everyone!”
The Madballs toys of the eighties made it so far as to get their own comic book, and toymakers of the time were smart enough that they included this ad in the first issue of the comic series. You can still buy Madballs today (find at Amazon.com*), but the toy has never quite been as popular since it was new thirty years ago. Still, how cool is it that kids of today can get new Madballs toys?
Madballs are not as popular as they were originally, but I can’t believe how many different scales and types of Madballs they’ve been pumping out the past few years, with two companies producing different scales and styles. It’s hard to keep track of!
