This G.I. Joe Advertisement from 1983 is Fantastic!
We’ve uncovered a lot of great newspaper ads from the eighties over the past year, but I’ve gotta say that this November 23, 1983, ad for the Lays stores is hands down one of the most spectacular examples of toy advertising that we’ve seen so far. Just look at that line art, kids! Who out there wouldn’t want to grab all of these G.I. Joe vehicles at prices this low?
