“This is Gamma World” in 1978

This 1978 advertisement for TSR’s Gamma World roleplaying game (Amazon.com search*) comes from Dragon magazine and features the earliest edition of the game. This is after Metamorphosis Alpha but before the game’s third edition (the version I played most as a kid), and looking at this makes me once again want to seek out the last of the third edition Gamma World books I need to complete the collection. Maybe I’ll get lucky and run across one or two of them at Gary Con today.
