Today’s the Last Day to Subscribe
Today is your last chance to subscribe to the 2010 Masters of the Universe Classics line. $20, plus $20/month, plus $10 or so/month for shipping equals a lot to avoid some of the stress of collecting this series. Sort of.
I’m gonna pass. I did post my ideal subscription last week, though, which should give you an idea of why I’m saying no to what Mattel is offering us.
Actually they’ve extended it until the 14th. Which I think is a good thing. They sprung it a bit early before most people could get their questions answered and there was like a whole week were details were shady.
@Newt – Either that or they didn’t have enough subscriptions yet. Which wouldn’t surprise me, since so many people have dumped a lot of cash on SDCC exclusives.
Yeah I feel that they dropped it a little early and people didn’t have the cash. I know I was on the fence (I opted in today) but mostly had to wait until I had some more cash flow. SDCC was ridiculously expensive even if you didn’t go. So it’s smart for them, IMO, to let it run another week.
They originally said 3 weeks anyway but the site only listed like 2.
I believe it was in Facebook where Toy Guru said that they originally said the 7th, but at the SDCC presentation they said the 14th, so that’s why they extended it.
@Ron – Thanks for the info, Ron. I did see the “7th” on the mattycollector page at one point, though, so it sounds as if Mattel made a correction to the webpage. That’s always a good thing (and at least it wasn’t that they announced the end would be the 14th and then changed to the 7th).
