Tomy’s Starriors on Clearance in 1986
January 11, 1986. The Sioux Falls, SD, Argus-Leader newspaper gives us what is most likely one of the last newspaper ads for Tomy’s 1984 Starriors toys. Surprisingly, the toys managed to survive for two Christmas seasons, and even at this late a date, the clearance price is only 50% off. Somewhere out there should be some sort of record showing these toys priced even lower; anyone have some still-packaged Starriors toys with clearance tags at prices even lower than we see in this ad?
