Tonka’s Steel Monsters
Hey, I managed to find another Steel Monsters newspaper ad from the eighties. This 1986 ad isn’t nearly as nice as the ad we saw last year, but the Tonka post-apocalyptic Steel Monsters action figure and vehicle line is so obscure that any discovery is a bit of a minor miracle.
Check out the ad, then don’t forget that we looked at the Tonka catalog Steel Monster pages last year. I continue to resist chasing down any of these toys because I know buying just one would lead to an obsessive nightmare. This line is way too tough to find for me to even try to buy any of the toys.
