Total Recall Collectible Merchandise Ad from 1990
Personally, I love the 1990 Total Recall movie*. I know that it doesn’t follow the Philip K. Dick story that inspired it, I know it’s cheesy at times, but the film is so very fun that I don’t care about its flaws. All I see, whenever I sit down to watch what I believe we can now call a classic movie, is a hell of a lot of fun and a Mars that is semi-believable. We could terraform Mars — if you haven’t read the TED Books How We’ll Live on Mars* then you’re missing out — and the scenes set on the Mars surface are so incredible that I still enjoy watching the movie today.
What I haven’t seen before, though, is the DC adaptation of the movie from 1990. When I ran across the comic book a few days ago, I didn’t even hesitate to spend the fifty cents to buy the comic. And hey, there’s even an ad for Total Recall merchandise; no matter how bad the comic is, at least I get to enjoy this ad.
