Toy Masters Documentary Update

Yesterday I asked the world What is Happening with the “Toy Masters” Documentary? Well, thanks to the magic of the interwebs I have a response directly from a part of the documentary’s team:

Hi. Thanks for the mention of our movie, “Toy Masters”. My partner, Roger, is very busy with his other enterprises which has prevented us from working too actively on it. But the edit/cut is essentially locked, and we are currently putting the finishing touches on it–the music and the graphics/clips/still animation, etc. We are hoping to shop it to festivals before the end of the year and it should be out on DVD early next year. Awesome news! I know I’m seriously looking forward to this documentary that’s all about the Masters of the Universe line of the eighties . . . and the birth/creation of that line. If you’ve read Mastering the Universe* then you have only one side of a very complicated story. The documentary plans to present multiple sides.

I’m looking forward to watching the finished film.
