Toycom Diablo Action Figures: “An Ancient Evil Has Arisen”

I played quite a bit of Diablo II for about a year or so long, long ago, taking time to go through dungeons and bash all sorts of monsters. The game was loads of fun and well-constructed, distracting me for hours at a time. It was a complete waste of time when I could have been doing something productive, but it was fun and that means I should just look back at the time spent playing the game and recognize that it likely sparked ideas. At the very least, it left me with memories of a very entertaining game.

Flipping through old issues of ToyFare reminded me of those hours playing Diablo II when I ran across this ad for the Toycom Diablo action figures (find at Amazon.com*). I’m unfamiliar with the toys, but the designs shown in the ad look sweet enough. Who doesn’t want a Necromancer action figure?
