Trailer Food Diaries: Cookbook at Kickstarter
Gina and I have hit a few of the various food trailers in Austin, and if you’re in the area you can do a lot worse than to track down places like Mmmpanadas and the South Austin Trailer Park and Eatery. Some excellent food at fairly reasonable prices (though go to Mmmpanadas first and you may never wanna go anywhere else).
Well, it’s that Austin trailer food scene that’s led to this Trailer Food Diaries: Cookpook project at Kickstarter. They’re almost out of time — and look in danger of failing — so I figured it’s worth a post to point everyone at this project. I know many of you reading battlegrip.com won’t care about a cookbook, but I’m betting at least a few people will find this interesting.
I am being published locally through Greenleaf Book Group (yay!). The book is completely written with over 60 recipes and we are including beautiful photography of food, trailers, and people. We are sharing the costs of printing and production. The funds raised through kickstarter will go directly towards layout/design, production, and printing. Ideally, the book will be launched this fall at our 2nd annual Gypsy Picnic trailer food festival.
