Transformers Cassettes, G.I. Joe Small Vehicles, and Silver Hawks Action Figures in 1987

From that same Battle Beasts advertisement from Circus World in 1987 comes this ad block showing two of the most popular lines at the time — Hasbro’s Transformers and G.I. Joe — on sale alongside Kenner’s short-lived Silver Hawks action figures. Fantastic prices, and all that this ad does is remind me that once I handle all of the work on my new Star Wars book (now on Kickstarter) then it will be time to explore the possibility of a Transformers book collecting old newspaper ads, marketing materials, and toy photos.
