Transformers Decepticon Cassettes, 96 Per Store
Yesterday’s Transformers Meijer ad isn’t the only time that we see actual number of toys available come into play in an advertisement. This Hartford Courant newspaper ad block from the Stop & Shop Pharmacy (dated October 21, 1984) shows us that the store had a limit of 96 Decepticon Cassettes available for sale as well as 60 Autobot Cars. When was the last time you walked into any store and saw 96 of the same toy assortment available to buy right there off of the shelves?
