Transformers Encore #18 – Skids

In the summer of 1985, right around my birthday, we took a trip to Devil’s Lake, North Dakota where I was given the chance to select a birthday present for myself at a local K-Mart. Poking through the Transformers toys on the shelves — I remember that there was a very tiny selection — I eventually selected a Skids as my present. Over the next few months Skids saw a lot of play, and was a favorite up until the point that his legs broke off.

Well, a post on Twitter from TFSource has alerted me to the release of the Encore Edition Skids. If this guy is anything like the Encore Trailbreaker (review here) then Skids is gonna be a great buy.
