Transformers Headmasters and Targetmasters in 1987
More from the 1987 ad I posted a few days ago, this time showing off Hasbro’s Transformers toys that appeared in that newspaper ad. The Headmasters and Targetmasters were definitely gimmicks at the time, but today those toys are established classics and some of the characters have even gone on to great things in IDW’s various Transformers comics (Amazon.com search*).
