Transformers Powermasters on Sale in 1988

Yesterday’s advertisement featuring the Transformers Headmasters also included this small block for the Powermasters, those toys that form the basis for today’s Power of the Primes series (find at Amazon.com*). Today’s Prime Masters aren’t identical in design to the Powermasters, but the concept is roughly the same . . . and besides, we get more small Transformers so I am happy regardless of whether or not we think today’s toys were inspired by the Powermasters.
