This ad is a bit tough to see clearly, but at least we can get enough information to know what both Soundwave and the Tactical Battle Platform were priced at for Christmas that year. If you look at the relative sizes of the toys — especially the box sizes — those G.I. Joe toys once again look like a steal when sitting next to the Transformers toys of the time.
