Transforming Collections PDF Sent to Kickstarter Backers

My Transforming Collections project at Kickstarter took a big jump forward today: I sent the PDF to the Kickstarter backers! Now everything will be looked over and it will soon head out for editing. The big news is it looks like this has grown to 64-pages; we’ll see how the Kickstarter backers respond to the idea of dropping stickers and stuff in exchange for another block of 16-pages.

Now it’s time for me to relax a bit. I can’t wait to get this back from the printer!

  1. I glanced thru a few page but I really want the hard copy. I am such an old guy who likes his paper.

  2. What was the problem with the original download site that required a change?

Got my PDF from the oringinal email links just fine.

  3. @Marv – The printed book will be better thanks to the feedback I’m getting on the PDF. But I understand; some things are just more fun as a book.

  4. @Court – I tried another test download at that first site and it tried to install an exe on my machine. I didn’t trust the site completely and didn’t want to possibly be sending out a dangerous link. That’s why I made the change.

But good to hear you got your file. I hope you’re liking it.

  5. Loving the pdf so far. I have to change to my “editor hat” so that I can look for any little things to help make this book the best it can be. I’m so excited for it though, that I keep looking at the gorgeous pictures instead of checking for little errors. Very well done so far!

  6. @Paul – Thanks! I’m trying to find time to deal with the errors that have been reported so far; yesterday completely escaped from me.
