Transforming Expectations Pages and Update

I’ve started work again on the sequel to Transforming Collections* and fully expect to launch the next Kickstarter project in a few weeks. Below you can see new sample pages showing the X-Transbots Glider which I first reviewed in 2011 — review here — as well as Wheelie Survivalist which I reviewed at It’s All True.

The Glider pics are all new since the review photos have the legs transformed wrong. I’ve got more pages finished and plan to spend the next couple of days photographing toys for the new book.

  1. The prices of 3rd party items make me squeamish. Not because I don’t understand why costs are high or think they’re worth it, but because it just becomes a very expensive venture if you purchase all the amazing items out there. I’m not sure how you’re able to acquire so many, or if the book helps you break even. lol

  2. @Kevin – I’m fortunate in having a good job, so I try not to worry too much about the cost of the toys when it’s time to put together the book. But I completely understand the concern; getting into these third party toys can be devastating to most toy budgets.

I hope that’s where my books come in handy for collectors.
