“Tron: The Most Innovative Motion Picture in Years”
This isn’t the first time I’ve chased down an old magazine article about Disney’s Tron movie. You may remember a 1982 issue of Electronic Games Magazine I shared a few months ago that gave us a peek at concept art and the movie’s effects, and now I want to continue the excitement with this Videogaming Illustrated article from 1982. The article’s blue on black type isn’t easy to read, but enlarge the image because anything that opens like this is gonna be entertaining:
“Three years ago, Walt Disney Productions flung twenty million dollars worth of sludge on the screen and called it a science fiction film.”
Hey, I happen to like The Black Hole movie. Just to spite this article I should pop the DVD in this weekend . . .
