This looks great, but I’m not thrilled with the concept of yet another “bookended” animated series (i.e. the series comes between two movies, like Clone Wars). The fact that both the past and future of the series has already been established really limits the storytelling possibilities. The style looks great and I hope we get some good figures and vehicles out of it (I’m especially hoping for a recognizer). But I think that the plotlines and characters will suffer because of the prequel/sequel format.
Oh hell yes!
